    More good stuff from work

One of the fun things about working in a hospital is encountering interesting names. Here are a few I like:

    Small, Male
    It's a baby and he's small. Awww

    Large, Male
    It's a hefty boy baby.

    Bean, Cherry
Some type of Ben and Jerry's ice cream?

    Dang, Thong
    on my flip flops broke!

    Yurawitch
    That's not very nice.

    Staats
    Test this patient, stats!

    Lam,Pan
I just like how this one sounds, forward and backward.

    Peggy
The above name is pronounced Peh-ji. Really, the person herself said it then spelled it.

    Girlie
Yes that is her real name.

Finally I give you a conversation between myself and a confused nurse or other patient care individual regarding adding tests to current in-lab samples:

Caller: Hi my patient had a phosphorus done a little while ago- is it true we have to add a magnesium?
Me: No you don't *have* to add a magnesium.
    Caller: Wait, what?
Me: We don't require you to add a magnesium that's-
Caller: I think you're misunderstanding me. I want to add a magnesium.
Me: Oh. Well that's no problem. (not what you said, but it's still no problem)
